Anna Pietilä is a scenographer, artist and architect from Finland. Pietilä is particularly interested in the intersection of spatial art, urban planning, and performance. Pietilä’s scenographic works manifest revealing structures and use of recycled materials to create visually and conceptually spectacular pieces.
Having graduated as an architect from the University of Oulu in 2018 Pietilä worked in architecture education as a teacher and workshop facilitator. Pietilä is currently completing a Master’s degree at the Theatre Academy of Helsinki. Their work focuses on establishing relationships with materials and the surrounding world.
